Every year we have a community event where we provide entertainment, awareness, and food. This year we decided as a committee to hold it virtually which was a little nerve-racking, but also exciting because with the virtual aspect we were able to get a lot more engagement.

Event organizers, Tina Plank, Southeast TNCHAP Prevention Chair, and Nikita Edwards, Regional HIV Manager for United Way of Greater Nashville, sat down with us to share some of the lessons learned while planning their first virtual event in part 1 of 3 in a short series of podcast episodes.
