Accudemia brings your student engagement work into a single, organized environment focused on three essentials: collecting feedback, understanding interactions, and facilitating collaboration. With Surveys, you can gather insights that reflect real student experiences. With the Student Engagement Tracker, you can see how each student interacts with your services. With the Engagement Board, you can open meaningful conversations where students, staff, and administrators connect.

Start with Surveys when you need a clear signal on what to improve. Define questions that capture session quality or invite suggestions for new services. Because surveys are created inside Accudemia, you can standardize how feedback is collected across centers and ensure that responses are comparable. The result is a unified view of student sentiment that helps you prioritize changes and show progress to stakeholders.

The Student Engagement Tracker gives administrators a comprehensive window into an individual student’s activity. Use the search at the top to quickly locate a student, then review their engagement across your services in one place. This centralized view reduces the time spent jumping between systems and supports faster decisions when you need to coordinate tutoring, advising, or other center services. When you understand the pattern of a student’s interactions, it is easier to deliver timely support and keep them engaged.

The Engagement Board extends your reach by creating a structured space for communication and collaboration. You start by creating a new channel and choosing the audience. Channels can be Public for your college, By Center for focused updates, By Class for course-specific collaboration, Group for invited members, Global to reach all schools and universities in Accudemia, or General to make announcements that do not require users to join. Each option gives you control over who sees the conversation and how it grows.

Creating a channel is straightforward. Add a channel name and description that set the purpose. Select a channel image to make it stand out, and specify the channel lifespan so participants know what to expect. When you are ready, publish the channel and it appears in Browse Channels. If you need a private space, create a Group Channel and add members manually. This structure helps staff keep discussions organized and helps students find the communities that matter to them.

When Surveys, the Student Engagement Tracker, and the Engagement Board work together, centers can listen, interpret, and act. Surveys provide the voice of the student. The Tracker provides context for each student’s path. The Engagement Board provides the forum where ideas, questions, and updates can be shared. This combination supports both day-to-day operations and longer-term improvements across centers and classes.

Whether you manage a single center or multiple centers, Accudemia gives you tools that scale with your needs. You can keep communication open with students, encourage collaboration within classes, and maintain college-wide channels for shared initiatives. Initially, Student Development started using Accudemia in 2012 to capture Chapel attendance for our commuter and grad students. We expanded this to include several large lecture classes (400 – 800 students) which were also held in Christ’s Chapel. We now have eight of the iAccu mobile card readers in this building. We also track Faculty attendance at a monthly meeting.
