Press Release – Accudemia Receives Readers’ Choice Top Product Award

Accudemia, Engineerica’s cloud-based academic center management system, has been named the University Business Magazine 2013 Readers’ Choice Top Product.

Orlando, Florida, January 07, 2014

Accudemia has been selected as the University Business 2013 Readers’ Choice Top Product. AccuTrack and AccuSQL, two of Engineerica’s other products, received an honorable mention.  Other award winners for 2013 include products by Apple, Amazon, Adobe, and Cisco.

The award is based on nominations from campus leaders from across the U.S. Winners are selected based on both the quantity of nominations and the quality of testimonials describing how these products are used to streamline operations and enhance student’s experience. UB included this sample nomination for Accudemia:

“Accudemia has helped streamline our tutoring services. We are more efficient as a result of using this product and have had great success with their tech support. Accudemia also allows us to track data and statistics on our usage in a very user friendly way and without any delay.”       — Zoraya Betancourt, Assistant Director, University of South Florida

Developed by Engineerica Systems Inc, Accudemia is a cloud-based solution for the academic market. Hosted on the Amazon cloud, Accudemia provides users convenient access to the system from anywhere. In a short time, Accudemia has grown to serve more than 800,000 students! The system offers a portable tracking app that can be downloaded via the App Store℠. The app, called iAccu, converts any Apple ® device (iPod touch®, iPad®, or iPhone®) into a portable attendance tracking device.

Engineerica's team was thrilled to hear the news. We are very proud to win the UB Magazine Reader's Choice Award for the second year,” says Mon Nasser, Engineerica's president. “We are grateful to our clients who selected us for the honor.  We will continue to focus on providing them with the best user experience possible.”

Engineerica also offers AccuClass, cloud-based classroom attendance software hosted in the Amazon cloud. AccuClass supports multiple options for recording class attendance such as an Apple device, RFID/ proximity reader, wall-mounted time clock, roll call via computer or ID swipe via a sign-in station. Students can be marked as present, absent, tardy, left early, and excused. Attendance is recorded in real time and can be quickly accessed using the attendance sheet.

The latest addition to the Engineerica’s product line is Conference Tracker, a cloud-based solution for tracking conference attendance. Conference Tracker allows users to manage conference registration, create and print attendees’ badges, sign attendees in and out of sessions using only an Apple device, print and email customized certificates with credit calculations and run reports on attendance data with a click of a button.

The complete list of products have been announced online and in the January 2014 issue of University Business magazine.
