New Web-based Student Tracking System

Engineerica Systems is pleased to announce the release of Accudemia software. Accudemia is a new web-based application for academic centers. The software was developed with Microsoft’s .NET and utilizes MS SQL Server as its database engine.
Engineerica Systems is the developer of AccuTrack, the leading software for managing academic centers and learning labs. Engineerica developed Accudemia for those centers that prefer web-based software for managing their academic centers. Accudemia can be used for tracking students’ visit, checking who’s signed in, collecting feedback from students via online surveys, entering session notes, collecting profile data, and much more. Other features are currently being developed and the system will be continuously enhanced and expanded.
Accudemia is a web-based system, and both the software and its database are hosted on Engineerica's servers. The software does not require any setup or maintenance work from its users. Engineerica takes care of all the maintenance and IT work, so all the user needs to start using Accudemia is a web-browser.
In celebration of the release of this new software, Engineerica is offering free 30-day trial accounts to colleges and universities. The account will allow its user to setup unlimited labs or centers for the college and add unlimited students and courses. Version 2.0 of Attendré is Now Ready!

We are pleased to announce that version 2 of Attendré is now ready! Version 2 adds many new features and enhancements that were requested by users of version 1. These enhancements include:
- Ability to view employee's over-time hours.
- Ability to view employee's late arrival and early departure times.
- Ability to view employee's absence times.
- Tracking of employee vacation and sick time.
- Employees can now request vacation or sick time off. The request can be viewed and approved or disapproved by the supervisor.
- Ability to print out employees' time sheets.
- Ability to leave a note for all to see when signing in or out (e.g. back after lunch, in room 206, with a client, do not disturb, etc.)
- A new employee center that allows employees to sign in, check their work hours, send messages, send vacation and sick time requests, update their info, and more.
- Much, much more!

AccuTrack 10 is here!
January 1, 2008 We are pleased to announce the release of version 10 of AccuTrack. This major update to the software includes numerous new features and enhancements. Most of these features were requested by current users of AccuTrack.
We started with a survey that we sent out to AccuTrack users asking them what they would like to see in version 10. We also checked the AccuTrack online support forum for user's requests and needs. Other ideas came from questions and comments made by AccuTrack users during training sessions. We also added some of our own ideas for improving the software.
The programming effort for AccuTrack 10 actually started a little after the release of AccuTrack 9. Several features and enhancements were added to version 9 and released exclusively to the Platinum Plus subscribers. This enables these subscribers to get the additional enhancements quickly. It also gave them the opportunity to try these enhancements and suggest more of them! Version 10 was based on the latest version of AccuTrack 9 Platinum edition. However, we did not stop there, several months of work were spent on adding more improvements for version 10.
Considerable time and effort was spent on the development of version 10. The AccuTrack team did an excellent job, and we are proud with what their accomplishments. We believe you will be pleased as well. Contact us to take a look at the new AccuTrack 10.

AccuTrack 9 is here!

We are pleased to announce the release of version 9 of AccuTrack. This major update to the software includes numerous new features and enhancements. Most of these features were requested by current users of AccuTrack. You asked and we listened!
The work on AccuTrack 9 started over a year ago by identifying enhancements to add to version 8. To accomplish this task, we sent out a survey to AccuTrack users, and we received over a hundred responses. We also checked the Wish List on the AccuTrack online forum, the suggestions from our training sessions, the support emails from clients, and other sources too. At the end of this process we accumulated over 50 pages of ideas for AccuTrack 9!
The next step was to analyze the suggestions to decide on the most important features and enhancements. After a lot of consideration, we reduced the requirements to 10 pages. These pages represented the ideas that are most useful to the users and established the foundation for AccuTrack 9 specifications document. We passed this document to our programming team for implementation.
The programming effort has been going on for a little over a year. In January of 2006 we released the first beta version of AccuTrack 9 to a select group of AccuTrack users. The beta testing went in parallel to our in-house testing. Many new ideas and enhancements came out from these tests. We also did a lot of testing ourselves. The feedback from beta testing and our in-house testing was used to further improve the software.
The development process was finally completed in May of 2006 as version 9 was finally ready! The AccuTrack team has worked very hard in developing version 9, and we are proud with what we have accomplished. New Licensing Options for AccuTrack

In response to clients' needs, we are introducing new licensing options with AccuTrack 9:
Single Center, Single Location License: This license allows unlimited installations at a single location for one center. This means one center with one name and at one physical location (room or building). The Single Center Single Location license replaces the Single Sign-in Station license we offered with previous versions of AccuTrack. The new license allows more than one sign-in station at the same center, which is handy for busy centers.
Single Center, Multiple Locations License: This license allows unlimited installations at multiple locations and sites for one center. With this license a center that has multiple locations (e.g. several locations at a single campus or even at different campuses), can have unlimited sign-in stations and administration stations at all of its sites. The different locations can be using a single database or separate databases.
District-Wide License: This license is intended for school districts with multiple colleges or universities. This license allows unlimited installations at all district sites and locations.
In Addition to the above new license options, we will continue offering the following licenses:
Campus-Wide License: This license allows unlimited installations at different centers at a single campus. For example, the software can be used in all tutoring labs, advising centers, counseling offices, and others - as long as they are all at the same campus.
College-Wide License: This license allows unlimited installations at all college or university sites and locations. This includes different centers at different campuses.
AccuTrack Goes International!

We are happy to see AccuTrack adopted not only in almost all the US states but also abroad. Recently we had orders from Canada, the United Kingdom, and also Puerto Rico. AccuTrack was the first commercial software of its kind specifically designed for academic centers and we are proud to see it used in academic centers around the world.

The material on the CD is based on our live training session and uses text, screen shots, and over 60 videos to teach you how to make the most of your AccuTrack software. New AccuTrack Plug-in for Computer Labs

We are pleased to announce the release of a new plug-in for AccuTrack Deluxe 7. This plug-in offers the following benefits:
Track usage of your computers.
Limit usage to registered students.
Allow students to sign in to AccuTrack from their work computer.
And more!
The plug-in is special software that runs on each computer in your lab or tutoring center. To use the computer, the student must sign in by entering his or her ID number and selecting an activity. If the log-in is valid, AccuTrack will minimize to allow the student to use the computer as usual. When finished, the student can click on a floating "Log Out" button. This will restore AccuTrack for the next user.

It also allows students and staff members to view their upcoming appointments from the convenience of their homes or any other place with a web browser.
